Crystals & Stones

Since the dawn of civilisation, crystals and stones have been used for decoration, healing and ritual. Recorded down through the millennia are tales and inscriptions of the use of these tools for the betterment of mankind. 

From the Aztecs, Egyptians, Native Americans, Australian Aborigines, Celts, Chinese, African and other cultures come tales and artefacts that indicate the significance that these ancient sources of power had for our ancestors. Texts such as the Bible refer to crystals many times with great respect.

Shamans and holy people used stones in healing as there was a belief that they had particular energies that could be called upon at times of illness to assist in bringing a person (or animal or earth energy) back to wholeness. In our scientific age, these energies are becoming measurable.

These cultures had and have an intimate connection to the Earth and deeply revere it as the source of all life. Humanity is now re-discovering the beauty and power of nature and it’s many aspects including crystal and stones.
