American Ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) can be used to improve stamina and mental function.  It can be of benefit as a convalescent herb and can assist in times of high stress.  It also boosts immune function, promotes digestive and cardiovascular health.  Its action is gentler than both Korean ginseng and Siberian Ginseng.


Korean Ginseng (Panax ginseng) assists to combat stress and fatigue and improve physical stamina.  It has an affinity to the circulatory system, in particular promoting blood flow to the brain and assists to improve cognitive function, assisting with memory and concentration. It can also help to strengthen the immune system,  lower cholesterol and regulate blood sugar levels. 


Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) is used to support the endocrine system and normalise the body’s reaction to stress. It is commonly used to sharpen mental performance and increase the body’s energy naturally.  It also has an afinity with the female reproductive system, helping to stabilize female hormones and alleviate symptoms associated with menopause, and menstrual disorders.
