Oak Bark is high in vitamin B12, iron, tannin and potassium and contains antiseptic, astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. It can be used to treat diarrhoea, cold or flu.  It is also highly effective as a mouthwash because of its astringent and antiseptic properties.
