Peppermint contains many properties. It is an antispasmodic, antiseptic, anaesthetic, astringent, analgesic and diaphoretic amongst others. It is commonly used to treat nausea and motion sickness, help reduce IBS symptoms, decrease bloating and flatulence.  It also helps to soothe anxiety, restore clarity and focus as well as relieving toothaches and headaches.  In combination with Elder and Yarrow it helps to ease aches and pains of colds and flu and boosts energy.
