It is most commonly used to help your body heal injuries, in particular, sprians, strains and broken bones.  It also significantly speeds up the healing process and helps to facilitate proper healing. It is also an excellent herb for reducing pain. It’s anti-inflammatory, demulcent, and astringent attributes combine to reduce swelling, soothe, protect, and tone inured, angry tissues.
