Eyebright  has been traditionally used to treat a range of eye complaints including  inflammation, conjunctivitis, red-eye, styles, itchy eyes, stinging eyes and weak vision. It is a tonic, astringent and anti-inflammatory and commonly used to treat the eyes, as well as condtions such as hay fever, colds, sinusitis and excess mucous.
