Goldenrod is used to support and strengthen the circulatory and cardiovascular systems. 
It is also an antifungal, diuretic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, diaphoretic, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, astringent, antiseptic and carminative.  All of these properties combine to help treat bladder and urinary systems, nourish the kidneys, calm runny noses and eyes, ease sore throats and to expel mucous from the lungs. It can also be used topically to treat wounds, burns and healing skin conditions as well as for relieving muscle and joint aches.
